Poem for wedding day from from dead parent?

My grandfather kept reciting this poem/song/jingle to me just before he died in hospital. I can't remember how it goes. It is something about as you walk down the aisle, look behind (or over your shoulder) and you will see me there. Can anyone help me out with the words? Thanks, Naomi.

I tried to help out but couldnt find anything however you seem to remember the most inportant part He was telling you he would be there with you sitting over your shoulder try to think of something that reminds you of him and look for his signs... it may be a penny on the ground that you find that day..... my mother leaves me pennies all the time
