wedding poems!?

i have been asked to recite a poem or verse at my friends wedding in october, i decided on Kahill Gilbrams words on marriage, but upon reading it to her she didnt unerstand a word of it, does antone know some nice, moving poems or verses that are not religious and not generic that have been used a million times over??? any help would be appreciated as i have NEVER had to do this before!!!! :)
